Perspective
|
A terminal expansion and upgrade was completed to accommodate increased traffic using this busy intermodal facility.
The driveway was expanded to allow four lanes of traffic. Inbound and outbound communication talk-back stations were installed, including kiosks and a four-lane inspection canopy. Additional track crossings and storm sewer catch basins were installed. A majority of the facility was repaved and striped. In order to accommodate for additional rail cars, abandoned tracks were brought back into service and working tracks were either repaired, removed or relocated.

Features
|
The addition of traffic lanes, new paving, yard lighting, talk-back stations, security cameras and inspection canopy will make it possible for this facility to operate more smoothly and enable the owner to track shipments with greater speed and accuracy. |
